Saturday night was a party at Jesse’s to celebrate his and Deborah’s b-days. They made it fun with little contests that had prizes. I won a unicorn that stabs people, complete with interchangeable horns and people to stab. All I had to do for that little whacko thing was run around and collect Easter eggs in the dark. Hooray for hand free head lamps. Other people had those stoneaged flashlights. Jesse got an Atari for his birthday, so we played that for a while before settling in to playing asshole, a game that Travis must practice on a regular basis. It might sound like I’m calling him an asshole, but to the contrary, he was president most of the night. I’m still not sure how. I even saw Nichole Bronson since she was hanging out with Jacob’s sister. Oh, and the big news is that Travis has a new girlfriend named Lucy that he brought up from Portland with him. Quite a lot of fun with a lot of fun people. I think birthday parties are actually a lot better know that gifts aren’t the main focus. You know you’re starting to get old when you start saying that it’s more important that people show up than you get presents.
